Kamado Pork Ribs on the Kamado Joe
So this was my first crack at Pork Ribs – may have been beginners luck, but OMG they turned out bloody fantastic!
Summary of cook :
Method 3/1/1
Aldi ribs ($14 per pack, good size pack )
Rub : mustard/salt/pepper/onion flakes/garlic powder/chilli flakes
Baste: baby rays mixed with cloudy apple juice until the last 1hr and then added honey.
Temp: held great at 225/250f
Charcoal: Pro Smoke lump with Hickory chips (soaked)
A Rib rack probably would have been a good idea – check out the shop for some inspiration.
